Back from Texas

I just got back from Texas today and I was soo excited to see Betty and Wilma after being away from them for a whole week! Betty has mastered going up and down the stairs. Wilma has not gone up or down the stairs on her own yet. This was surprising to me, since Wilma was the first one to jump down from couches and chairs and it took Betty a lot longer. I love that they each of their own personality.

The very first time Betty went up the stairs. For a week or so she kept going up the stairs, but was too afraid to come down. She would sit at the top and cry until I came and got her. She loves her new discovery of the stairs. Whenever anybody goes up them she will be sure to follow.

Betty and Wilma went to the groomers for the first time (at almost 15 weeks old). We went pretty short since it is getting hot outside. They are due for their next shots on Thursday this week.

Right before they went to the groomers.

Looking fresh after the groomers!

Loving their new bed!

Happy Memorial Day! (And 15 weeks old to us!)

They got tired on their walk, so decided to take a quick break (15 weeks)

Doing very well on the leash. They already love going on "walkies"

"Please don't leave us to go to Texas"

I already am missing my boys down in Texas. I had such a great week with them!

Meet Betty and Wilma!

Hello everyone!

I recently got two Miniature Schnauzer puppies after the passing of my wonderful Mini Schnauzer, Pepper. The new puppies are now 14 weeks old and they have been with me for 7 weeks this Thursday. They are the most wonderful puppies and I am excited to share this wonderful adventure with everyone!

This is a picture of Betty (left) and Wilma (right) on the first day I got them, 7.5 weeks old.

After my graduation from University of Iowa, with my fiance Cale. (13 weeks)

The puppies are already almost potty trained. The breeders did a wonderful job of already having them trained to not go potty in your bed. They have slept with me every night since I have got them and have never had an accident. They are finally starting to walk on their leashes so we have been going on lots of walks. They are such fun and loving puppies, we have gotten numerous compliments on their behavior. I am so excited to watch them grow up!

This is Pepper, my girl that passed away from cancer this past winter. She was such a great dog and I miss her so much, but have so many great memories. Love you Pep!
